Wow it looks so much better! I removed all the old insulation that was falling apart and covered in Diesel soot and replaced it with Soundown Yachtsman’s Deluxe insulation. A very satisfying upgrade for sure!

It seemed wise to locate all the places below the waterline that have fittings passing through the hull and make a diagram so that in an emergency I can easily find them. I also found the correct size bung plug for each one and taped them to each seacock, this way hopefully in the event

Today was the start of cleaning, I washed all the surfaces in the v-birth to remove dust and mold, she looks great and now it’s safe to sleep here! I also discovered a nest of wasps in the aft cabin, not the type of crew I would be hoping for!

The hose clamps on the packing sure looked risky, gave them a nice upgrade!

Today was bottom prep day. She looks so nice with her bottom painted, new anode and cold galvanized on the prop and shaft!!

The surveyor had noted that the PVC cap on one thru hull and the hoses under the sink in the head should be replaced, I agree, PVC doesn’t belong on a marelon thru hull and the hoses were original to the boat. I replaced the cap with a proper marelon seacock and replaced all the
